-If your new to exercise, start with 2-3 days a week of activity and increase it from there. Try to add a volume (by increasing sets, reps, weight or frequency) every 2-3 weeks.
-A good way to start eating healthy is to get rid of all the junk food in your house. If it’s in your house, you will probably eat this. This also helps to get the whole household eating healthier if you live with others, social support is very important.
-Have a plan. Most people have daily schedules that they follow, even if it’s loosely. Why not have a plan for how you will get in shape and stay in shape? If your having problems with this, hire a trainer/fitness consultant to help you with this.

-Go grocery shopping with a full stomach. You are much less likely to buy junk food on a full stomach. Ever been out and had an empty stomach and didn’t even think twice about stopping by at the closest fast food restaurant? Ya, I thought so.
-Focus on adding a new healthy habit every 2-3 weeks. So for 2 weeks before you even start exercising, you might start eating healthier. After that 2 week period, focus on adding in exercise. Same thing goes if you are trying to reduce calories in your diet. It’s a bad idea to drop a bynch at once.
-Eat natural foods, avoid processed food. If it doesn’t look like how it looked when it came from the earth or from an animal, then don’t eat it. This means whole chicken breasts are fine, but not sliced chicken breast cold cuts.

Think about this next time you go shopping for food.
-Just like exercise, you can progress away from your old “bad” habits. So instead of your daily coke, replace that with healthier beverage. Mayne some cocunut water?
-Every once in a while, treat yourself. Have a “cheat meal” that is on the healthier side. So instead of eating a whole pizza and washing it down with a 2L coke, replace that with a meal more on the unprocessed side.

Ya it’s processed, but it’s still a better choice than pizza and coke

A little different than last time. I did mostly more of the same in the gym as last week, but took video of this new exercise I added to my workouts. It’s called an overhead pallof press, or atleast that’s what I call it. It targets the core, and I will have a blog post detailing how it’s done and it’s use.
